Professional Experience:

    

University of Maryland University College (UMUC), Adelphi, Maryland, 1995 to present:
Academic Director (1995 - 2007) for the Computer Studies discipline. Coordinate staffing, course and computer lab scheduling, and new course development. Responsible for hardware/software design factors for eight teaching computer learning centers at remote campuses. Establish information technology global curriculum for online courses. Supervise 53 adjunct faculty located throughout the United States. Designer and facilitator of faculty and staff development workshops, and public-access higher education online chat sessions.
Collegiate Associate Professor (1995 - 2007) teaching Information Technology courses, including applications management, program management, HTML programming, Web design, ergonomics, and online security to world-wide diverse multi-cultural students. Innovated the use of online course delivery features in the traditional classroom environment and for curriculum program management.
Adjunct Associate Professor (1990 - present) teaching numerous Information Technology courses as well as Principles and Strategies of Effective Learning.

Warehouse Associate (2007 - 2008) performing warehouse inventory and processing control functions.
Warehouse Manager and Web consultant (2008 - present) managing warehouse operations and providing search engine optimization consultation.

United States Navy, world-wide locations, 1975 to 1995 (retired with Senior Chief command experience) :
Head of Personnel and Training for the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System, Pentagon, Washington, DC. Responsible for managing human resources of over 2,400 personnel with an annual training budget of $218M. Collaborated on setting the vision and establishing the strategic priorities for the Oceanographic Systems Technician world-wide program.
Systems Management Officer for Oceanographic Station in Iceland. Responsible for installation and maintenance of a $560M equipment suite. NATO liaison for systems review, testing and repair. Simultaneously administered the technical security and test equipment evaluation programs. Instructed military base personnel in university-level courses in collaboration with University of Maryland University College.
Maintenance Liaison Officer for Oceanographic Station in Japan. Primary liaison with the host country in the installation and start-up of an oceanographic station including personnel, equipment, and training. Technical development team leader responsible for site configurations and security of data transfer. Provided cross-cultural training including technical language interpretation.
